ImPulseV cloud-based DSP processing software is suitable for broadcast audio production workflows, delivering premium audio quality and Calrec’s full broadcast feature set. ImPulseV may be hosted in a public cloud or on-prem environment, which can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
ImPulseV provides a virtualised Calrec audio mixing engine in a cloud-native environment. Leveraging patented x86 CPU optimal core processing (OCP) technology to operate in a virtualised Linux environment, ImPulseV is optimised for low latency throughput, providing real-time responsive, efficient and deterministic audio processing, control, routing and mixing.
Using the same interfaces that Calrec users are already familiar with, it can be controlled either through the Calrec Assist web UI or directly from a Calrec Argo Q, Argo S and Argo M console.
In addition, True Control 2.0 can be used to control ImPulseV from any True Control 2.0 enabled console, which provides additional control to the Type R mixing system.
ImPulseV enables broadcasters to deploy audio mixing instances as needed to meet the demands of a range of events, including allowing broadcasters to move to an OpEx cost model, enabling coverage of second and third-tier sports which may not have been economically viable.

Compatible with the entire range of Calrec Argo mixing systems, any combination of ImPulse DSP packs can be combined with Argo S control surface hardware to deliver exactly what you need today, and enable you to flex in the future.
- Argo M
Compatible with the entire range of Calrec Argo mixing systems, any combination of ImPulse DSP packs up to a maximum of 432 can be combined with Argo M control surface hardware to deliver exactly what you need today, and enable you to flex in the future.

Calrec Assist is a browser-based interface that creates virtual console environments for remote control, distributed working and ultra-flexible workflows. Calrec Assist provides full, interactive and real time control of an entire console from a single screen.

One application to rule them all: everything you need to configure the system, including DSP, sample rate, system interfaces, I/O, GPIO, External AoIP I/O and Control Surface configuration.
