Mentor ambient lighting in VW Arteon
The VW Arteon – both in the Shooting Brake and saloon models – is impressive thanks to its dynamism and elegance, comfort and practicality. In the interior of the car, Volkswagen has opted for high-quality materials such as real wood and surfaces with the look of real leather. The exclusive interior fittings are complemented by tasteful, customisable ambient lighting. MENTOR light guides and microprocessor-controlled RGB coloured LEDs are used for the illuminated trim in the door panels. The trim strips in the driver and passenger doors and in the rear doors create the desired (colour) mood for the interior of the car – 30 difference colour nuances are possible depending on the vehicle configuration. The specific structure of the customised light guide ensures a dynamic lighting effect. To create a uniform lighting pattern, the colour selected for the decorative door lighting can also be applied to the car’s digital displays.
