M-Fibre vs. LED strips
If a line or ambient lighting is implemented today, so-called LED strips are often used here. The M-Fibre system has several relevant advantages compared to this technology:
- Free-form curves possible
- No colour or brightness differences of individual LEDs
- No defects due to failure of individual LEDs in the light line
- In case of service only the LED module or the fibre has to be replaced
- Due to the spatial separation of the light source and light outlet, it can also be used under water and in Ex protection areas
- Can also be used in temperature ranges above 40°C
