During fibre optic expansion, pipe blockages repeatedly prevent fibre optic cables from being blown in at network level 3 (FttB) and network level 4 (FttH). These damaged areas cause a great deal of expense and dissatisfaction among contractors, clients, network operators and customers.

This is why Katimex is setting new standards with the X-Loc Micro in the precise route localisation & optimized endpoint localisation of blockages in microducts from 4 mm inner Ø.

Efficient localization for more planning reliability

Thanks to the unique combination of the shear-resistant Polykat® glass fiber profile (Ø 2.5 mm) and the integrated, trimmable copper strands, the X-Loc Micro enables fast and reliable location over a distance of up to 250 m - and even up to 500 m when using the two empty conduit entries.

Maximum precision and easy handling

The signal is further amplified with the supplied earthing cable so that blockages and routes can be located with pinpoint accuracy. The X-Loc Micro is compatible with all standard locating devices and offers a robust, mobile solution for everyday use on construction sites.
