RTBF and Heynen have chosen Studiotech as system
integrator for the Studer OnAir3000-net, and all other elements of the
networked environment.
The Studer consoles will be fully integrated with the Arbor Codec
Management and with the Telephone systems.
For RTBF Mons, the decision means that the users can take advantage of the
world acclaimed ergonomics and the ease of use of Studer’s OnAir3000
systems. RTBF has a 17 years record with Studer analogue consoles and
Heynen/Studer see this decision as a recognition of Studer’s high quality
products and the support in the Benelux area.
RTBF’s Management, Engineering and Production say that their unanimous
choice is based on the worldwide references, but especially because of the
user-friendliness, the simplicity of use and the Studer solutions on I/O
sharing, teleconferencing and the flexibility especially through a large
choice of external modules. For RTBF, this is the first step to a global
shared environment that connects the various production sites.
RTBF Mons is an important site in the National Radio for the Belgian
French speaking community. The new equipment shall be used to produce the
radio channels Classic 21 and Vivacité.
RTBF’s decision confirms Studer’s OnAir3000 platform as the preferred
digital mixing consoles for Belgian Radio Broadcasters.
