“What began as a garage shop with two employees has turned into the organization we have today with nearly 200 team members and growing. Pole/Zero’s primary market presence is still in the design and manufacturing of these high-performance tunable RF filter products that help solve some of the most difficult communication problems in today’s congested environments. Pole/Zero has solutions deployed across the entire spectrum of military platforms, from ground communication base stations, tactical vehicular applications, UAV payloads, maritime warships, and large airborne command and control platforms. This connection to the industry is what drives much of Pole/Zero’s culture and focus. “Our people see the need for our products in the industry and how they are serving the end-user and keeping, for example, the war fighter out of harm’s way by having a clear line of communication,” says Paul Walpole, supply chain director.
Dover Corporation, a diversified global business with annual revenues of $7 billion, acquired Pole /Zero in 2007. Today, Pole/Zero is part of the Microwave Product Group (MPG) operating company within the Dover Engineered Systems segment. MPG also includes K&L Microwave and Dow-Key Microwave in the US, as well as BSC Filters based in the United Kingdom. Pole/Zero’s addition to Dover family, and the MPG business, only further strengthened their ability to meet customer needs by achieving exceptional growth in both capabilities and service.
