RTV Noord uses High Gain 4G/LTE Antonics Antennas

The Antonics-ICP OmPlecs (train)"roof-antennas", combine extremely low profile antenna installation height, with the highest technological demands on the antenna performance characteristics. The roof antennas of the series TOP 200 AMR MF-04 are specifically designed for LTE MIMO and WLAN MIMO applications. Media company RTV Noord (Netherlands) found just the solution in these high-gain 4G/LTE antennas...

RTV Noord equipped their vintage V.W. T3 transporter, with advanced broadcast devices and peripherals. The new-gen communication technologies implemented, enable shorter "time to broadcast", and an overall reduction of operational costs. However…this demands for a very stable mobile connection. MW Sound & Solutions and HD System Support kindly assisted RTV Noord, by carefully choosing and installing just the right antennas for the job.

The roof is externally fitted with 6(!) high-gain 4G/LTE antennas from Antonics-ICP GmbH, which ensures maximum connectivity…even in the outskirts. The V.W. van is furthermore accommodated with several other antennas, IP A/V codecs, IT, and networking devices. All is mounted in a 19" removable rack, for ease of serviceability.



RTV Noord started using their sophisticated VW T3 early September 2016, for their TV program "Expeditie Grunnen". The items and content brought to viewers, is subject to day-by-day trending topics on RTV Noord’s social media, and broadcasted every Saturday and Sunday evening.
